The term "implementation deficit" refers to the gap between the goals of EU grand strategies (e.g. the Lisbon Strategy, Europe 2020) and their actual execution. While the strategies aim to address global challenges like climate change, digital transformation, and inequality, implementing them across 27 diverse member states can be challenging.
#TIA2030 will deal with the issue of the EU implementation deficit by providing research and educational tools that can be utilised throughout Europe and beyond. The goal is to enhance awareness of Agenda 2030 and its global implementation, specifically focusing on sustainable development goal (SDG) policy mapping.
