The Winter Camp Workshop 2026 was successfully held by our project team, offering a valuable opportunity to reflect on policy approaches and future roadmaps for sustainable development in the European Union.
This year’s workshop featured two inspiring guest speakers. Mag. Matjaž Hribar, univ. dipl. fil., from the Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering, University of Ljubljana (UL FGG), Slovenia, presented on circular and regenerative approaches to economy-environment relations. Sahana Swaroop Chetan, from Nord University, Norway, spoke about the relational circular economy, offering additional perspectives on sustainable transformation.
The event concluded with an interactive discussion, where participants reflected on the main challenges currently facing sustainable development in the European Union. Among the key issues highlighted were policy and regulatory frameworks, economic incentives and business models, social engagement and behavioural change, and coordination across different levels of governance.
We are grateful to our speakers and participants for their valuable contributions and engaging discussion.
