News and updates: Thematic session at the 18th SSSC and 3rd Round table announcement

We are happy to share the latest updates about our project!

In October, our project team successfully held a Thematic session within the 18th Slovenian Social Science Conference, where we explored various perspectives on the European Union’s public diplomacy towards third countries in the context of the UN Agenda 2030. In particular, the session outlined the perspectives of the EU political leadership, the role of the media in promoting Agenda 2030 and how industrial localities can become arenas where the Sustainable Development Goals are not only promoted but also actively co-created.

In November, we will continue this discussion at our 3rd Round table, titled “The European Union and public diplomacy for Agenda 2030”, organised as part of the Social science evening discussions. The draft agenda and preliminary discussion points are available via this link.
