18th Slovenian Social Science Conference – Call for Papers

We are pleased to share the news that the 18th Slovenian Social Science Conference, organised by the Slovenian Social Science Association, is now open for abstract submissions. This year, the conference is titled "Building Resilient Sociologies in an Era of Global Disruptions"
The conference offers a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and engage in discussions on how sociology can respond to today's global challenges - from climate change to digital shifts and social crises.
Important information and deadlines:
Conference Dates: 16-17 October 2025
Location: Ljubljana, Slovenia
Conference fee: Free of charge
Abstract deadline: 31 August 2025
Keynote speaker: Prof. Bandana Purkayastha, a leading expert on intersectionality and migration.
